HAVE-A-GO
Matt approaches a person/s at random on a street or indoors and asks if they would be willing to undertake a challenging circumstance which reflects a particular impediment/predicament that many face daily.
Example: navigate around congested city streets that have no ease of access for wheelchairs and find a way to get to toilets on 4th floor of a shopping mall.
Or a blindfolded attempt to navigate a busy city street.
Or left without phone or money homeless on the streets.
Etc.
Watching people attempting to cope by putting themselves in shoes of others creates empathy, and makes us feel like we are there ourselves, participating in their reactions/feelings and raising questions that foster compassion, understanding and sympathy.
